Application: 

Briefly describe your request in an attached proposal. Please state what you are asking for and how much the total project costs. 

Include the main elements of your proposal and how you intend to use the funds requested.

In the proposal, please address the following items:

A.  Impact (for example:) 

How many people will directly benefit from this donation? 

What impact will it have on our community? 

How important is the success of this project to your organization? 

If the Chamber has funded you previously, how successful were the results of your earlier project?

B.  Fundraising

What have you done or what are you doing to raise other money?

How much have you raised?  How much do you still need?

C. Community Involvement

Please state your and/or your organization's involvement in the community.  Make sure to include any Chamber events or projects that you have volunteered for.

The Chamber of Commerce earns the money for community grants, donations and scholarships from events that we host throughout the year.  This would not be possible without the generosity of our volunteers.  We ask that you consider future volunteer opportunities when making your proposal for a donation.  We have volunteer opportunities at Volksfest, Hazelnut Fest, 4th of July, and other events.  


The Chamber is very involved in the success of Mt Angel and it is important to us that our community members know what we are doing to help out in our community.  All donations should be recognized in some form.
