Festival Dollars at Work: Mount Angel Chamber of Commerce Donates an amount of $10,000 to the Mt Angel School District.

A $10,000 donation was made to the Mt. Angel School District for the purchase of a new scoreboard for St. Mary's Elementary. The scoreboard will be used for elementary sports as well as middle school volleyball, basketball and junior varsity basketball games. Silverton YMCA youth sports and MAYS (Mt Angel Youth Sports) also frequently use St. Mary's gym and will benefit greatly from a working scoreboard.

This gift is made possible by the profits of the annual Hazelnut Fest and Volksfest.
